Abstract


With fast development of socialism market economy in China, Var iety of talented persons is urgently needed, China has been kept enlarging its higher education scale to meet this demand since 1999, and China has made a big achievement in this decade.During this period, applied universities get a rapid development. Applied universities refer to those foster professional persons serving local economy, and develop themselves, so it is of vital importance that these universities promote teaching methods. The most important factor is Curr iculum, and how to manage these Curriculum, promote efficiency, so we can harvest more talented persons.Curriculum management is the main duty of school, a good university can manage its Curriculum according to national and local governments policy, parents expectation, students needs, teachers and all the resources, and get a ideal result for Curriculum tendency, Curriculum planning, Curriculum enforcement, and Curriculum valuation.This paper bases on Guangzhou Universities practice, discussing the problems existing in Curriculum management. After analyzing some main problems, using the experience of other countries for reference, this paper will put forward a general plan for Curriculum management for applied universities.
