Abstract


With economic development, the competition among express enterprises increases intensively. To establish a world wile high-performance express network is the fundamental basis for delivery service. The expansion and increase of the pick-up-and-delivery sites is an important way to upgrade the service level and to improve the competitive advantages in express enterprises.This article describes the development situation of international and domestic express industry, and then introduces the general theories of project management and express network structure. After that, use a sample project in F Company to provide an overview for the set-up process of a new pick-up-and-delivery site, with the direction of the combined theories of project management and express network planning. The project management theories include life cycle management, process management, human resource management and time management etc.
