Abstract


China has tremendous tourist resources, and tourist industry has become more and more important in our country. As the coming of "2008 Beijing Olympic Games", more and more people have recognized the big chance in event tourism. Events have been the important components of tourist attractions for a tourism destination and a significant ,driving force for the development of tourism industry. Events have the significant merits in fostering the competitiveness, diversifying the tourism attractions, adjusting tourism markets and speeding the pace of tourist industry development. "But because of late beginning in our country, we lack of practice experience and theory research. Now, in order to hold those-mega-events, the study of event tourism has become the hot place to tourist scholar.This thesis will be divided into five chapters to carry on research on the event value of tourist resources and exploit management of event tourism. Chapter 1 and 2: Preface. Point out the background, the meaning, the thoughts of the thesis. Chapter 3: Analyzes the event value of tourist resources. Chapter 4: Analyzes and makes suggestion to carry capacity of event tourism. Chapter 5: Analyzes and makes suggestion to management of event tourism.
