Abstract


China now enjoys political stability, economic prosperity, people’s peaceful and the people’s content and peaceful living in the 21st century, above which China will rise to an extent economically and politically in a peaceful way that the government of China chooses to take to maintain the world peace and promote communal development . Nevertheless, numerous obstacles lie ahead, of which Taiwan problem barricades and threats China’s peaceful rise innermost. The essence of Taiwan problem, demonstrated in the warfare between "divide" and "reunite" of China and between "Taiwan Independence" and "Counter-Taiwan Independence", which bears great significance in handling Taiwan problem and reuniting motherland on our way to rise. China’s recently increased its comprehensive national power .handled the Taiwan business pragmatically, deepened Taiwan-mainland communication and gained an improved international circumstances. The bill of Counter-divide a Country passed has added what the bill says to the solution to Taiwan problem. The unchanged nature of Minjin Party will dramatically internationalize Taiwan problem and the interference of Japan and the United States is bound to complicate the problem, the sophisticated state of mind of the Taiwan people can not be turned right in a short time, all the negative factors of which will severely affect the solution to Taiwan problem. Under the principle of "One China" ,we keep developing,promote economic and cultural cooperation,improve substantially the mainland-taiwan links, and actively strive for the support of the Taiwan people.The positive and stable Sino-Japan and Sino-US relationships will help solve taiwan problem smoothly and can avoid the negative effect upon China’s peaceful rise.
