Abstract


The scale of Chinese insurance market now is 6th in the world, and it keeps on growing. The Chinese insurance market will become one of the most important market in the global insurance market. Facing competition in the property insurance market, Chinese property insurance companies pay more and more attention to foster the innovation capability. The management innovation of underwriting property risk control working is one of the important sides about the innovation capability. It will play an important role in building core competence and professional brand image in property companies, and even leadership in the market finally.In this thesis, the value and significance of topic, the contents and means of exploration, and the innovative conclusion are based on the analysis of the Chinese property market. Theoretical overview includes project management, management innovation and the theory of property insurance. Made case analysis of the management innovation about underwriting risk control working of 2 property insurance companies in Korea and U.S.A.. After exploring the management innovation and project management according to the actual state of Chinese property insurance market, the conclusion is made that the key factor of the management innovation about underwriting property risk control working is to foster the innovation capability. Suggestions on how to use the theories on the management innovation about underwriting property risk control working are made after analyzing the system model, evaluation and decision-making system of innovation about underwriting property risk control working. The management innovation scheme and key problems for Chinese property insurance companies are explored based on the case analysis and exploration of theory application, then introduced the practice of the theory. The final part is summary of the research result, and suggestions on next-step work.The projects of management innovation about underwriting property risk control working have the specialty defined in modern project management, such as purpose, uniqueness, one-off and conditionality. So it can be managed by project management approaches. In addition, management innovation is to create more effective resource integration pattern, the pattern could be overall process management that meet with the objectives and responsibilities of enterprise by the new way of integrating resource, or details management about new way of integrating specific resource and make objectives etc.. The results of exploration on the management innovation can be used to conduct the management innovation about underwriting property risk control working. Chinese property insurance companies can use the advanced means and experiences of foreign property insurance companies as reference.Exploration ways of contrastive analysis, system analysis and cases analysis are used in the thesis. Attempts are made to get means and conclusions suitable for the management innovation about underwriting property risk control working for the Chinese property insurance companies through the exploration. There are some innovativeness at the subjects, theory application and research results. The exploration results are of reference valuable and practical significance.
