Abstract

Objective:1. to study Parkinson’s disease (PD) in patients with cognitive dysfunction and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAHS) of the respective incidence, and their influencing factors;2. to study Parkinson’s disease with or without the effect of OSAHS on cognitive function and explore the possible mechanisms.Method:Collected83patients in outpatient or inpatient department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University which are diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease from January2010to October2012, all were completed polysomnography. Statistical analysis the different cognitive disorder in Hoehn&Yahr staging and OSAHS rate were compared, and analysis of the impact of each factor. Exclude people with sleep disorders other than OSAHS,36cases were remaining. They were divided into two groups according to the apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) were divided into two groups:PD with OSAHS group (group PDO), PD without OSAHS group (group PDNO). At the same time, the same period of time to complete polysomnography and diagnosis of OSAHS in the elderly as a simple OSAHS group, to ensure that the age, gender, education level and AHI math with group PDO. All subjects were ensure to finish the general condition and neuropsychological test. Statistical analysis statistical characteristics were compared between the three groups of population, cognitive function, sleep parameters.Results:1. The incidengce of cognitive impairment in83PD patients (MoCA score
