Abstract


Read language learners access to important information and the exchange of information is one way, but also a very complex psychological and intellectual process, communicative activities between the author and the reader. Of their intentions, plans, ideas and emotions and so on, with the written form of performance out of the reader through these language symbols to identify, contact and reasoning to judge the true intentions of the existence of language symbols behind. Because of this exchange is not face to face, so the readers on the correct understanding of the true intentions of the difficulty. In recent years, the vocational high school students reading skills improve to become the focus of Teachers of English reading, there are a considerable number of English teachers want to be able to find out a suitable theory to improve the students' English reading ability, applied to the English reading teaching practice. Cognitive nature and characteristics of the English reading this article, four very influential in reading teaching reading mode and comprehensive elaboration, while emphasizing the impact of these modes of teaching reading, pointing out that they inadequate. Relevance Theory as the basis of the theory, and to re-look at and examine the process of English reading. According to relevance theory, reading is a process of exchange and writer; reading readers find the best associated process; reading readers in EXPRESS - reasoning based on the reasoning process. Focus implied in the reading process and reasoning, the association principle as well as the association and relationship of reading comprehension problem, clear that the associated principles to help readers understand the discourse meaning accurate reading, the teachers 'responsibility is to develop the students' English reading association awareness and the ability to find a correlation. I believe that the English reading teaching and research related theory can, in theory, provide a new understanding; same time, the theory may also improve reading ability has a practical significance. Thus, according to relevance theory, the author proposed a relevance theory based English reading mode and make the mode guiding the validity of the assumptions of the teaching of English reading. To test the attitude of the associated theoretical model of the effect of the teaching of reading and informed of the mode of vocational high school students, two parallel classes of Vocational third grade teaching experiment. Traditional reading teaching methods I used in the control classes; using relational theory reading mode guidance teaching strategies in the experimental class, the selection of reading materials for students, guide students to analyze the discourse and writing style associated with teaching reading, help students frame related to language environment to infer the author's intention of writing, finding the best correlation to students of pragmatic reasoning ability, to improve students' overall reading levels. After four months of teaching comparative experiment, from the results of the test, the experimental class English scores than the control class English scores greatly improved, which proved the feasibility of this article the correctness of the assumptions made and teaching suggestions. After the experiment, the basis of merit, I elected from the experimental class 6 students interview thus informed of the attitude of the students in the reading mode. This article is the final conclusion: the associated reading mode associated theory as a guide to culture and to improve students' reading ability.
