Abstract


False memory, also known as memory illusion, a psychological phenomenon of the past experience and the memory of the event and the fact that deviations . Channel effect of the error memory means is accepted sensory channels different types of presentation stimulus (usually means visual channel or auditory channel ) , such that a different amount of errors generated memory phenomenon . The the error memory channel effects , domestic research is still in its infancy , and the results of the existing research has reached the opposite conclusion and foreign research . The reason for this difference is not clear , therefore , it is necessary to study the error memory channel effect . The study included two experiments. The design of the experiment group , a total of 73 retries . Each learning phase and test phase are accepted all channel types, each trial stages of learning to learn three channel presents vocabulary ( visual, auditory , and audio-visual ) , and testing phase of the test project is divided into presented in two channels ( visual and auditory ) . The experimental group design , a total of 164 were . Experiment II In addition to the experimental design with a different experimental procedures and experiment a consistent . Each learning and test phases only need to present information of a channel , that all stages of learning vocabulary is the visual presentation or aural rendering or rendering audio-visual combination word of the test project all the visual presentation or full aural rendering . Consolidated results of the two experiments show that : (1) Chinese DRM paradigm exists error memory channel effects , but , contrary to most of the findings and the West , is the visual channel conditions than the auditory channel conditions . (2) audio-visual combination presents under false memory to less than a single channel ( visual or auditory ) presented under false memories , but for the right memory for audio-visual combination and no better than a single channel presents . ( 3 ) experimental design ( design or groups within the group design) affect the error memory channel effect . (4) when the task requires subjects will be more focus on the channel -specific information on the the channel mismatch effect is more obvious . (5) the channel effect is a combined effect of the product of the encoding and retrieval phases .
