Schema theory related research shows that reading comprehension is an author a- nd the content of readers created a priori and memory complex process of interaction of schema, and stressed the readers with the background knowledge has been reading structure can obtain a combination of schema effect of good reading. Therefore, Sche Ma theory has important guiding significance to Chinese reading teaching. Chinese reading occupies very important position in learning Chinese in central Asian students, it is access to information, accumulate vocabulary, familiar with structure, cultivates the written expression ability of important ways. However, since long-term in Chinese reading teaching, due to the influence of traditional teaching method by reading the teacher, plenty of time and energy for vocabulary and grammar knowledge, ignored the teaching is closely related with the reading materials scheme knowledge learning, accumulate and use, it caused a great obstacle on reading comprehension, teaching the effect not beautiful. Schema theory to improve student’s reading abilities, also provides a theoretical basis for reading teaching provides new ideas. In order to better cultivate student’s reading ability, analyzing the characteristics of Chinese reading teaching, according to the reading teaching principle, schema theory applied to Chinese reading teaching of central Asian students, targeted to the schema theory of design, make reading teaching strategy, guide Chinese reading teaching, trying to improve the efficiency reading ability of foreign students Chinese and promoting central Asian students Chinese ability’s development in an all-round way.The paper is composed by the following five parts. Chapter1: introduction. The research background, this paper purpose, significance, content, and the paper reviewed research ideology, schema theory and related research literature. Chapter 2: research students Chinese reading teaching purpose, survey central Asian students the existing problems and reading difficulties in Chinese reading strategy, etc.; From the Angle of schema theory of intermediate Chinese reading materials, the analysis. Chapter 3: research schema theory Chinese reading the teaching application design in xinjiang university students. Chapter 4: from the perspective of schema theory of xinjiang universities, foreign students Chinese reading teaching the revelation and Suggestionsn central Asia and textbooks. Chapter 5: in order to improve the quality of teaching, using reading schemata theory discussed foreign Chinese reading teaching practice significance. And in order to better application of Chinese reading teaching schemata theory, this paper puts forward some feasible Suggestions, in addition, also repeated the significance of research and points out that this study also existence deficiency.Anyhow, schema theory application in Chinese reading the teaching is still in the initial stage of exploration and try to schema theory as guidance, teaching mode still has many insufficiencies, we are expecting linguists and first education workers make further improvement and perfection, to explore a more effective reading teaching strategy.
