Abstract


With the rapid development of economy and technology , English movies and English teaching in China has drawn increasing attention of English educators and learners . But not many secondary and secondary vocational and technical schools applied to English teaching English movies . This paper studies the effect of oral English teaching English movies , hoping for secondary vocational and technical school English teachers in the classroom Teaching Spoken English movies provide effective and practical method . This article briefly describes the theoretical basis of oral teaching English movies , and then discusses the advantages of the film as a learning language carrier , and select movie principle . In this study, the experimental research . Choose two classes of 84 students as research subjects , divided into experimental and control groups , the use of different languages ??carrier Teaching experimental group English movie language carrier , while the control group, the traditional textbook language carrier . Experimental group classroom activities by the author to be designed according to the characteristics of the film , while the control group based on the textbook organization teaching activities . In this study, three questionnaires and two oral tests to collect data using SPSS twice spoken test data analysis . The research results show that the movie as a language carrier to better stimulate students' motivation . Spoken English teaching through film can achieve better teaching results than using the traditional textbook . Students hold a positive attitude towards the use of film for oral teaching . Finally, the paper points out the limitations and inadequacies of the study , and a reference for future research recommendations .
