Abstract


Video games in the world led to the rapid expansion of gaming software localization industry. Chinese market as a global game developers contested, the importance of laying the localization of the game . In this study, game software localization translation behavior for the study, analyzed the localization of the translation process , the translation process reached its three characteristics: interdisciplinary teamwork, the use of translation memory tools , terminology management introduction . In this study, functional translation theory , analyzes the characteristics of game software translation , translation function and translation strategies drawn translation should ultimately serve the game features the conclusions ; and big game \from the software part of the text and voiceover two characteristics begin to describe the use of translators for translation strategies .
