With the rapid development of information technology, the software has been out of a small workshop production and converted to the production of engineering, is also an increasingly large software projects, project management has begun to attract attention, and become the key to the success of the project. The first step in project management, software configuration management is doing a good job. Software Configuration Management is divided into version management, bug tracking and build management three parts, including version control and bug tracking management is to establish the preconditions and theoretical basis. The project managers are more concerned about the progress of the project, to be able to solve this is not a simple version control, and project managers on the wrong track management will have a bigger harvest. Based on the basis of the nature and importance of software configuration, the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration industry cigarette production and management decision-making management system (referred to as the State Tobacco One Project), a large-scale national projects, must be a software configuration management. Tobacco One project due to the implementation of the point of a wide geographical distribution, personnel dispersed, the complexity of the implementation of environmental, research and the use of version control and bug tracking is particularly important. A powerful, easy management and bug-tracking system can greatly improve the effect of the implementation of configuration management. In this paper, I will discuss how to build a large-scale project bug tracking system. Firstly, version control and bug tracking, version control to manage the software development process in a variety of program code, configuration files and documentation files change, it is the service for the bug-tracking system. The error tracking section discusses software defect management, the error tracking effect, process, feedback error defects life cycle, classification, level, status and error description. Secondly, the bug-tracking system using the program technical measures on the ideas and theories of the role-based access control (RBAC) and mixed-mode error tracking tool used by system structure, also discussed the technical measures of another program defect management database . Again, we do a comparison of different scale projects, bug tracking system work. Finally, the third part of the software configuration management - to establish management and discusses in detail the specific construction of the bug-tracking system program on the bug tracking system, staffing and structural system, and then described the process of bug tracking system and functions, error reporting, and role permissions data structure as well as the error class design. Bug tracking system has greatly improved the effect of the implementation of the software configuration management system put into tobacco at work, get timely and efficient solution to make all kinds of errors, and greatly improve the efficiency of the tobacco sector, to reduce tobacco unnecessary project implementation personnel, reduce costs, praised by the tobacco industry users. Error management expert database through the expansion, maintenance and modification for the national tobacco one project to provide more convenient and timely response to the FAQ database. Bug tracking system as a general-purpose system can also be used for other national projects, bug tracking, bug tracking and version control of other projects on the bug tracking system overall design framework is completely portable. Looking ahead to the system, bug tracking tools reusability and extended surface is also wider. This system can be used as a generic error tracking system to be used for other projects and projects. Bug tracking system integrated version control software, extended expert database role permissions set expansion and error reports pending further research and improvement
