Abstract


Objective: ameloblastoma (ameloblastoma, AB) is a common the mandible Center epithelial tumor , is a benign odontogenic tumor but locally aggressive features , easy to relapse , easy malignant , attributable to a critical tumor \. The experimental study of membrane type matrix metalloproteinase -1 (MT1-MMP) and its the exogenous inhibitor RECK expression in ameloblastoma explore both development and aggressive biological behavior of ameloblastoma the role to provide a theoretical basis for into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of ameloblastoma . Methods: 60 cases of ameloblastoma and 30 cases of odontogenic keratocyst cases , ameloblastoma and odontogenic keratocyst RECK and MT1-MMP expression detected by immunohistochemistry SP method , combined with patient gender , age and clinical pathological type ameloblastoma significant correlation analysis using statistical methods . Results : 30 cases of odontogenic keratocysts 20 cases the RECK the expression for the positive , positive expression rate was 66.67 % ; positive expression of MT1 -MMP three cases , the positive rate of 10.00% . 44 cases of MT1-MMP expression was positive in 60 cases of ameloblastoma , positive expression rate was 73.33% , and increased with tumor recurrence . RECK expression was low in ameloblastoma , the positive rate was 30.00% , with a recurrence of ameloblastoma reduced . Ameloblastoma in the experimental cell tumor RECK and MT1-MMP expression and the patient's gender , age and clinicopathological type ameloblastoma unrelated ( P gt ; 0.05) , with recurrence of ameloblastoma statistically significant (P lt; 0.05). Ameloblastoma RECK and MT1-MMP expression was negatively correlated (r = -0.634, p lt; 0.001). Conclusion : RECK expression reduced or absent with elevated expression of MT1-MMP plays an important role in aggressive biological behavior of ameloblastoma , is closely related with the recurrence of ameloblastoma . Can inhibit the expression of MT1-MMP , RECK transcription regulation MT1-MMP to participate in the invasion of ameloblastoma recurrence process .
