Abstract


Supply chain inventory and information technology strategies are key two elements ofcorporate strategy. The firm, in order to achieve the competitive advantage and make agood performance in profit, they have to emphasize the importance of supply chain andinformation technology. However, in the real world, the fundamental of supply chainmanagement, the inventory control frequently being neglect by the management team frommost of firms, as a result, they are losing the control of entire supply chain and operationcost, in consequently, the operation profit would be impact as well in significantly.As the time went on, the inventory management is also being change in significantway, the inventory become critical important in ensuring the firm smoothly run and makemore profit, especially for how to manage and control the inventory in ERP plat formwhich is becoming to more and more popular in recent years.As well, the supply chain managers need to use appropriate information systemsolution to support their strategies when making, which would lead to stay competitive.There are different kinds of IS strategies which enable managers to meet the SCrequirement by selecting the best IS strategy. Therefore, it is important to align ISstrategies and practices with supply chain strategies and practices, which could help us toplan for an information system application that supports and enhances a supply chainmanagement system. ERP/SCM does integrated all sub-processes and support theirbusiness operations.Then, while we talk about the inventory management, we have to consider that theinformation strategy. Throughout the page, we will do combination study on the inventorymanagement and information technology strategy. Based upon the formers researchfindings, we do study the inventory management in a new creative way with considerationof the ERP platform. We discuss and analyze the problems of inventory control ofcorporate G, do summarize the findings and propose the solutions, then put it forimplementation, the outcome, will be also reaction on our study result.
