In this paper, the Chinese Soil Classification System, as an object of study in three rivers flow area at different altitudes typical mountain soil, the process of soil formation, physical and chemical properties and evolution, to determine the diagnostic layer of soil, the diagnostic characteristics of the system classification system establish a the Soil Taxonomy vertical band spectrum. Altitude of 2400m below Argic; rich and increased with the altitude and a corresponding increase in soil organic matter content, soil acidic or slightly acidic, with increasing elevation, the pH value was decreased rainfall rich region, the altitude of 3000m above the soil mostly salt not base saturation, indicating that the the soil leaching role strong; area most of the soil profile free Fe2O3 content gt; 20g/kg or free iron in total Fe gt; 40% iron features; Si02, A1203 soil and Fe203 content of and accounting for about 95% of the mineral part of the soil, mineral element content in the order of Si02 gt;; Fe203, A1203 gt gt gt; K2O; TiO2 gt; of MnO. Chinese Soil Classification retrieval, the area has three diagnostic surface soil, that dark fertile surface, the dark barren surface and grass carpet surface; the five diagnostic table lower, that is the prototype of layer Argic, bleached layer, low activity iron-rich layer of ash deposited layer, a diagnostic phenomenon, namely organic phenomenon, eight diagnostic characteristics stone contact surface gley characteristics of humus characteristics, iron characteristics, calcareous soil moisture conditions, soil temperature condition, base saturation. 3 area soil system classification is divided into six soil orders 11 subclass 17 soil types, 18 sub-categories; altitudinal belts in the structure of the soil of the Three Parallel Rivers: ordinary argillic QIANRUN the Ferrisols (lt; 1600m) → iron acidic wet Alfisols (1600 ~~ 2000m) → red iron humid Alfisols (2000 ~~ 2400m) → the ordinary HAPLI Ustic Cambisols (2400 ~~ 2700m) → dark Waugh cold and humid prototype soil (2700 ~ 2900m) → lime soil (2900 to 3400m) → acidic grass felt chilling Cambisols (3400 ~ 4000m). Genesis classification system classification classification results are generally consistent, but between the two classification systems are linked and there are some differences. System of classification is based on soil theory based and reflect the process and environmental conditions of the soil into the soil diagnostic horizons and diagnostic characteristics can be measured more directly than geographic occurrence classification, more objective, more convenient.
