Objective: To study the use of quantum point the feasibility of real-time imaging of the lymphatic system in rats . Methods: 15 rats were divided into three groups , the first group of right upper limb subcutaneous injection of 50ul concentration 1mg/ml quantum dots , the same quantum dots injected in the right lower extremity subcutaneous second group of rats , and the third group of rats stomach sinus side serosa of the lesser curvature of the stomach . After injection 15min, 30min, 60min, 120min, 360min imaging . And fluorescence imaging system under the guidance of HE staining , cut imaging , pathological examination. Another 12 rats , six right upper limb subcutaneous injection of quantum dots , the the six injection of normal saline . Fed for two weeks after the injection to observe and record the general condition , parallel organ anatomical observation whether the abnormal . The content of cadmium in the major organs of the test and evaluation of quantum dots in the distribution of body organs . Results: quantum dots injected in the limbs , 15min , upper extremity quantum dots migration to the armpits, groin migrating to the lower limbs . With time , the quantum dots to continue along the lymphatic tube road , but never crossed the midline . Quantum dots injected by the stomach , 15min migrate to the the gastric antrum side lymph node groups , 30min migrate to the stomach followed by lymph node groups . Injection quantum dots in rats after acute toxicity performance , cadmium is mainly distributed in the liver , kidney and spleen of rats . Conclusion: quantum dot lymphatic system imaging is a new technology , not only to make up for traditional tracer lack , and lymph node imaging of multi-level , will help to improve the identification and removal of lymph nodes efficiency .
